guage install ?
hey guys
got my guages installed today
did the pillarwith trans, pyro, and boost have couple of q?
1. where do i get the colomn pod for the fp
2. the pyro is tapped right at the outlet of the turbo. is this the right location to tap?
3. the trans temp hasnet moved yet (just maybe a 1/16 of an inch) is this not reading right? he tapped at the accumilator whole/plug ?
4.does the colomn pod get in the way of the factory speedo?

2. the pyro is tapped right at the outlet of the turbo. is this the right location to tap? Better to tap the manifold before the turbo
3. the trans temp hasn't moved yet (just maybe a 1/16 of an inch) is this not reading right? he tapped at the accumulator whole/plug ? I'm not sure where your probe is but suspect it may not be in the right place by the sound of it. Unless your gauge goes below 120° you might not see it move on the highway, it will take some stop and go to heat it up into the gauge's range.

1. How much difference can i calculate for to understand what the pre turbo temp would be. I read somewhere about 400 degrees but that seems pretty drastic.
2. What temp is the tran happy at. The guage does move just very little
3. Is there a max boost for stock turbo setup in a 01 4x4 quad cab. I can fly the needle right up to 20 lbs now.

3. Between 18-20 PSI is totally normal. I bounce mine right up to 20 and it slides of to 19 PSI with the wastegate open.
