Anybody up for a wrench day?

I will have a DRB III this weekend if anybody needs access let me know. (good for up to and including '05 m.y.)

My house. Main purpose is to see if anyone else needs or wants access to a DRB III.

what city is your house in and wat is a drb3 exactly, code reader?

Sorry 'bout that I thought location was showing up on my posts. I live in Woodland Hills close to Topanga and Ventura Blvds.

DRB III is the tool used by the dealer to check codes, reflash the ECM, change options, a whole slew of things no other code reader will ever be able to match. It is used on Ram trucks up to and including M.Y. '05. After that you need StarSCAN or StarMOBILEas those vehicles use a newer CAN Bus.

I used to have a '91 W250 which I bought new and drove for 13 yrs and a little over 300k. I don't remember if it had a diognostic port under the dash or not. I don't think the DRB III would be of much use to you (Icould be wrong) as I believe the only computers on your truck are for the cruise control and another one for the single channel RWAL ABS. You could post on the other forums for first gens to find out.

Hey 89f150, a little of topic I know but thought you might be able to tell me how to get location to show up in the header. I looked all over the User CP and can't figure it out.

DRB III didn't get here Friday as planned but will be here Monday for three days if anyone needs or wants access.

No I never did send the app. Procrastination isn't one of my better qualities. I'll get it in the mail today.
