I know again the same thing GSK! Sorry... but i have had enough of this shifting in and out and i am finally going to reset my springs! I need to know how many "clicks" or turns on the retaining nut is considered stock or from factory. PLS i cant get a hold of a calipers, and i am not spending 40 dollars at advanced auto or autozone or any other parts place. PLS if anyone can help me, let me know! thanks

Best that I can do for you

is get you in the ballpark from other things i have read.. About 6 3/4 turns will get you close. Not sure how many clicks that is. If you cant borrow the calipers, then the best thing for you to do is back off two clicks at a time and keep readjustin till your happy with it..

GSK is all trial and error... especially if you are without calipers....

All you need to do is put the nuts back on to the same depth as they were stock (as a starting point). You don't have to measure them to get a number just use anything you can think of to mark the distance BEFORE you remove them. I think you could even use use a popsicle stick or a piece of paper and a pen to mark the depth. Then when you reinstall the nuts just set them to the same mark. Not very high tech but for the springs it should get you close enough. From there you might then have to adjust them a click or two (or three) to get everything working correctly. This will happen even if you do use calipers. After doing the springs twice I don't think you need the accuracy of calipers (it is better if you have them) but just get them close to the original depth and the same on both springs.

Thats my opinion anyway, other may disagree! Go ahead!

I understand all that but i tried counting the clicks or turns when i first removed them from stock. Now i have the 4k and i didnt get the right amount of turns i guess cause its still doing that and i have readjusted 3 times ? so fgured calipers will be my best bet.

I have a 3/8 screwdriver
