Governor lever adjustment ?

I have a #100 plate in my 97. truck runs good but noticed the Gov arm is riding very high on the plate when i checked it with the solenoid pulled up my question is how much difference would i feel by adjusting arm to leading edge of plate would there be better bottom end

the lower foot on a #10 or #100 is the lower rpm area. If you adjust the arm to hit the plate lower it will lessen low rpm fueling
