Gotta Pull my bed
So I have to pull my bed off to change out my fuel sending unit. I was just wondering if there are any other things that I should look for or do while I have it off.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You don't have to pull it off if you don't want to. I just pull the bolts on the left side and loosen the right, and tilt the bed up. Have to unbolt the fuel filler neck, and thats it.

I had to take mine off to change the big seal around the tank pickup. I changed that and the filler neck hoses while I was in there. Might also be a good time to check your rear end parts and leaf springs, just to make sure everything is tight and lubed.

Thanks for the help!!!
Well guys, thanks for all of your help, AGAIN!!! I went ahead and just pulled the bed off. I was by my self and figured if it was on the ground, it would be less likely to smack me in the back of the head!!! Or at least more difficult. Fuel sender turned out to be okay, at least it tested out okay, But my draw straw was leaking so I built a new and decided while I was in there to do the tank vent mod at the same time. Clamped my supply hose from the tank to the FASS to the frame so when I change the in line filter it doesn't yank on the draw straw.
Good call Haloman, with the bed off it is really easy to grease the drive line!!! I did remove and check the diff vent to make sure it was not clogged and was nice and clean.
Thumper, glad you said that, I decided to look over my exhaust system and found a couple of pin holes on the joints that the welder missed. I just filled em with JB.
Only question I have at this point is if it is okay to put a hose and in line filter on the grey vent on top of the fuel canister???
Posted some pics if your interested. Kind of a novice mod, but hey you have to start somewhere right!!!!
Thanks again for all the input guys, as always it is greatly appreciated!!!!
