Gotta love the stock flexplate

This is what I found after I pulled the tranny, had a horrible noise from the engine going down the road. Sounded like the engine was taking itself apart.

Flex plate

Well it looks like I will be upgrading the converter and the flexplate.

I just put a 2nd Gen flexplate in mine cuz the center section broke out completely and left me sittin on the side of the road. The part number from Cummins is 3975464 and it should bolt right up. It was like $120
