Thumbs up Got rid of the Amber Colored Warts! Go RECON!

Well after seeing some of the other trucks on here make a change to the cab lights....I had to do it too. I installed some RECON Smoked Cab lights. So far I am very pleased. Hopefully there won't be any leaking problems come next rainstorm.

Made a nice little Sunday afternoon project!

I still need to do something with the headlights and tailights to finish out the "look". New 35'' Tires, Trans and turbo upgrades are coming soon too! ($$$$$$$$$$)

Very nice truck best i've seen. Are those wheels factory or after market. Does the powdercoat not throw the balance off any. I'm sitting here drooling.

TexasCTD,
Very nice.
I see that your front grill and grill frame is all satin black, did you do that yourself? if so how and with what paint?
That is how I want mine to look.

Thanks Boris

Thanks SS! But that isn't me on "Pirate". I don't know what that guy says he gets....but I get about 16.5-17mpg most of the time...driving uhhhhhh faster than I should.

Yep I agree. I am not sure which brand to go with on that yet. Thinking about "Depo" rear lights though.

Yep, I should have layed down a towel. All I can say is I layed the one very small socket wrench down "verrrry carefully".

They are factory aluminum wheels that have been sandblasted and powdercoated black. They seem to balance perfectly. I have almost 50,000 miles on my current set of BFG 285 ATs with maybe 10,000 miles left in them. Thanks!

Thanks Boris

I bought an unpainted grill off of Ebay and sanded it myself and hit it with some unk brand of rattle can paint. I forget which one. I really need to redo it. Member NRiver uses black Krylon "Fusion" and has had good results with various plastic pieces on his truck. I will probably redo mine with that. The Ranch Hand hides most of the fade of my own paint job. Thanks.
