got my floor-it

Hey I got my floor-it stage 2 today and am going to put it on tomorrow. My problem is I dont know the torque specs for the gear and and the mounting bolts. I also am wondering about the bleed procedure. If some one could chime in and help me out I would really appreciate it.

Thank you

How long did it take you to get it???? Mine was supposed to ship out two weeks ago.... should have got it last friday along with my ARPs.... I can't get ahold of John at Floor It for the life of me.... I've called and left messages, and sent PMs... I know he's very very busy.... I just don't know if I should cancel and order the II Stage 2 or 3.... Has anyone heard from Floor it lately???

About the torque specs.... do you have the 06 service manual? If so the specs should be in there.... I think you can get the manual atEdit

Be patient, give John a chance, you won't regret it. I know he is swamped right now. I spoke with him last week.

I have his latest Stage 2 and it is freakin awesome. His customer service has been first class.

77 ft lbs is factory spec on the nut. I typically go a little higher. Use your own discretion. On the nuts, 18 ft lbs. As for bleeding, the common rail system will self bleed

John is a demanded dude, there is no doubt he's hard to catch up with....... but I'd rather see him building pumps than talking on the phone ...for the most part!
I'm totally stoked about getting my stage 2, I had a taste of it last week but having to wait for some other repairs before I can really enjoy it.

Yah, I'm not complaining too much, more like worried because I got a PM from Keri, John's wife saying my studs and pump were shipping Monday before last, and they never arrived?? I was more worried that someone heisted them off my porch than John shipping them out...... I can wait some more....

Does he send you a whole assembly and charge a core charge so there is no downtime or is your truck down while you wait?

No core...you wait...but it can be quick quick turn around when scheduled.

Great guy.

You can buy your own core...ebay etc if you need zero downtime.

That's weak...buy your own core if you need no downtime? Most of us need no downtime. Maybe it's a matter of their business growing in professionalism/size, and eventually they'll do core swaps..hope so. Quick turnaround?? The guy above posted waiting some two weeks! Is this the same with II or is it just John who's slow/doesn't do cores? Not trying to rip on the guy or his work, but the service side of it is lacking.

Um...no think about it.

I don't want a "strange" CP3 under my hood. I want mine...which I know works...to work BETTER!

If you dissagree...there is always Industrial Injection for guys like you.

Umm...yes..I did think about it, before I posted. I didn't base my conclusions on what YOU want either...I'm glad you want 'your' cp3 under your hood. I don't care where the cp3 came from, if it was modded over by II or John I wouldn't hestitate to trust it. I love how you've decided that your opinion MUST be industry standard, and that everyone who feels differently are 'guys like me'...lol. But anyway, thanks for the information - glad to hear it sounds II is catering to 'guys like me' who actually want logical business practices and good service.
