Got a little present from Wicked Diesels Today

I sent my CP3 off to Shane at Wicked Diesels earlier this week to have it modified into a Stage 3 and got it back today. All I can say is WOW!! Not only does the pump look 100x better than it did when I sent it in but the turnaround was extreemly fast and the performance is incredible. The rail pressure ramp up is instant and whatever lag I previously had is virtually gone!

i would also like to know the cost. my pump has started to leak and i would rather spend the money and have it built up than just fix the leak.

If it is leaking then shane can not do a full upgrade to it. a few of the modified parts raise internal pressure than will cause the pump to leak worse.

Do you know what he actually modifies when doing these upgrades? I didn't even bother to ask for specifices, I was just thinking about the end result

I know he modifies the cascade valve and that uaually raises pump pressure internally

Thanks Mark, it runs even better I think I'm gonna upgrade my 64 to a 66 now. I don't think the lag will be too bad because I don't have hardly any right now!!

Yeah, those 90's will help turn it, but if you tow at all, you'll have to be careful. You have a stick, so you should not have any problems.

You're gonna need more fuel (sticks) soon!

I rarely tow and if I do then it just a couple ton of coal or wood. As far as the sticks go.....I was thinking about upgrading to 120's IF I first decided to upgrade to the 66. Basically I wanted to get the stage 3 pump see how things run. Then add the 66 and see how things run. Then upgrade to 120's if necessary. The problem is that I love how it drives now and I don't want to ruin anything. But I can't help myself from wanting more
