Does anyone what the max turbo psi is on the 04.5 before they will blow? Because on the highway last night with power pup on extreme and banks on 1 it hit 46 psi!!!!!!

Eeeek! No clue on it's limits, but if you knew what your backpressure was you would probably poop yourself.

Thought I read somewhere that around 45psi boost on stock turbo is pushing the limits. Not sure what the stock head gaskets and other piston top goodies can take, but you are living life on the EDGE.

I saw 39psi boost with my Dr Performance Stage II once. It came off the next day.

I've been running 35 psi for over a year on a stock turbo, I have thought about putting a blowoff valve on it though

I thought that once you got over 50 PSI you should consider o-ringing the head to avoid blowing the head gasket.
