Well I guess my thread title says it all.

I had to detour through the ditch today, so before I did I stopped shifted to
4H, nothing, no engagement, no light. Shifted to 4L, clunk, and away we go.
I got through and back to the road, shifted to 2WD, put it in reverse and backed up about 50 ft(ya, I know you really don't have to do that everytime
but I just listen to the old school guys). I looked down and it says I'm still in
4x4, but it's not engaged, I shifted back to 4L to be sure, back to 2WD, light still on. Jammed her back to 4H, 4x4 light goes off, and no engagement to 4
wheel drive.

I searched on here and found alot of stuck in 4x4 threads, but mine isn't really stuck in 4x4, just says it is. I'm most concerned about the loss of 4H,
that would suck if we get another ice storm. I'm thinking linkage on the manual shift ?????????
