gooseneck questions

I am considering a move and I want I am looking at buying a trailer to move all my toys at once, but I want to be safe about doing it. My toys include 2 Fox era mustangs about 2800-3000# each, and 2 harleys 750# and 950#. I measured the cars at 15 foot long and the bikes are 8 foot long. I am not too concerned about the weight, but I am not so certain if my truck can safely handle a 40' gooseneck. Thoughts? Comments?

It'd probably handle it just fine. I'd just watch how you load it so you don't get too much pin weight. With a flatbed, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

It will handle it just fine, difference from yours and a 3500 is just springs, 2 extra tires and the GVW sticker on door. Stay within max rating of truck and trailer combined and you won't have a problem.
Truck label 9900, trailer 21000lbs = 30900lbs max, you might need a CDL

I've overloaded my truck many times and never felt the truck couldn't handle it. Take it easy and make sure your brakes are in decent shape. An exhaust brake is a wonderful thing.

Driving a 40ft won't be much fun. I pull a 30ft GN and have to be REALLY careful in residential areas. The GN cuts such a shorter turn than the truck I have to watch the neighbors hedges, mailbox and parked cars. Not everyone parks as far back from a corner as they should.....

No way could I get down my street and around the corner with a 40ft. I hope you are going from an acreage to an acreage....

You'll find where you can't pull in, you can back in.
