Did you save the plug from the hole saw?

The guy who did my bedliner suggested I keep that, as they weld them back in and touch up the bedliner for people from time to time...

If you are going to overlap ownership, maybe you could have the plug from your new truck welded into the old one...

Show the buyer the hole, tell them you will toss in a free plastic bedliner to hide it.

I had to remove my gooseneck hitch to accomodate my new superglide 5th wheel hitch and it left a 4" hole in my bed. I took my truck and had it Line-X'd. Turned out good and you can hardly tell it was there. I guess thats probably a pretty expensive way to cover a hole on a vehicle your selling but you could always suggest it to the new owner if he decides not to put a gooseneck hitch in.

I'm starting a collection of 4 1/2" plugs! Most dealers slap a new plastic bedliner in and call it good. If the buyer wants a hitch poooofff, hole already there!!

Thats why I suggested it, and showing the buyer. I have had 3 friend buy used trucks with Holes under the drop in liner. It does not hurt the truck, just upsets them the seller was hiding it.

Question best 5th/gooseneck combo hitch

I'm looking to put in best dual 5th/gooseneck hitch solution (will be towing both: goose soon, 5th later). If you planned to do both what would be the best product/solution? I'm leaning towards the SuperGlide (18K) with the GooseNeck adapter (w/ball).

Apologies if this is a hijack - just thought I'd post the q here (came up on search) as opposed to starting a new thread.

TIA,
Dane

I would go with the B&W GN hitch and get the fifth wheel that attaches to the GN hitch.
