Goodyear AT off road tires

Hey, anyone else running the Goodyear At tires???

I had the dealer put them on the truck in stock size, said I wanted a quality off road tire with decent on road chracteristics.

(stock size)

So far I like them, seem to have decent grip in the mud and muck, don't make too much noise on the highway, (atleast nothing you ever really hear over the clatter of the CTD )

Just wondering if anyone else is running them??

Good or bad tires??

I work in a small ranching community and have noticed a few problems with Goodyear tires regarding vibration/harshness and tire failure when the tread is only half worn out. Granted, these tires are used in a harsh environment on feed trucks and other ranch vehicles, but I have recommended Michelin LTX A/T to many people and they have stood up well and had a decent lifespan.

I run 285/75's on my 2500 2wd. Taction is great, but they wear quickly. I am halfway through the tread with 15k miles. I am going to try some 315/75's BFGoodrich All Terrains that were gien to me.

I had those tires in a 305/70/16. They were awesome in mud. Only complaint was they only lasted 20K miles. I paid $800 for a 33" tire and it only lasted me 20k miles. I paid $450 for an off brand 33" tire and it lasted my 35K. I just paid $800 for a set of 35" tires. I hope the increased mileage trend continues.
