Good Deals on Turbos
Hey All,
I read in quite a few threads about people getting S400s and S480s and HT3Bs for very little money, $300, $500 etc. and some are claiming that they are brand new! I am curious where these deals are and how do I get my hands on one? I am going to be looking for a big turbo for a compound setup and I would love to get one of those deals!! Any help would be great.

Last time I talked to hitech turbo in utah, the ht3b was in the low 500 area I think. I bought mine frm them about 5 years ago for 418 shipped...
I also know forcedinductions.com has s480's for 799.....s475's are 625 though.

Very true, be weary about that.
I learned that the hard way when I got a bogus HX-35 off ebay.
Found out it was supposedly a Borg Warner cast to the specs of a Holset HX.. from china!
I told em it was false advertising and to refund me or itd be going to court. They did, but not for 4 weeks and 6 repeated long phone calls and major headaches.
If you buy off Ebay, Id call and get their word its not China Junk.
Other wise a HT3B from HTT sounds like it might have the right stuff.
