Good Deal??
I was at the parts store the other day. Guy comes in with a 96 12v Reg cab long bed 2wd. Asking for a trans filter and gasket set. We get to talking blah blah blah...
Now for the good stuff. The truck is clean! rust free from South carolina. Has minor bed damage right behind the cab on the driver side. from this past winter. Guy said he bought the truck for 800 and is asking 3500 OBO for it. The front end need work driver side tire is blad on the outside pass side is fine. trans varies 200-300 rpm while accelerating in OD. I could prolly get him down since it will need ball joints atleast and will deff need a trans.
I planned on buying it then swaping the motor into my 96 gasser
Is this a good dea? what should i offer him??
