Is this a good deal?

I won this truck on ebay, and my main reason for bidding was because of the miles. I can get past the ugly two tone paint and small rust spots, after all it's a 95. However, 116k miles just seemed too good to pass up. Any comments or concerns guys? It's an SLT with every option. Can anyone tell me if that looks like part of the overhead compass in the one picture where you can see part of the roofline? I'm going to get it this weekend, I think.

My main plan is to drive it through the winter and then buy the truck I really want in the spring. I only had about 8k to spend right now, and this seemed like a perfect fit. In the spring I'll find my quad cab 12 valve

Thanks,
Shawn

Looks good to me, If the truck is what the seller sayx it is, miles and all it should do you throught the winter, and you will probley get most of the cost back when you sell it.
Have a safe trip bring it home. Will it fit under your Christmas Tree?

Did you get it for 5600?? I'd say that is a good deal. Have fun with your new truck man.

The guy says he knows trucks inside out, yet he listed a 5 cylinder Cummings (with a g) that burns gasoline. I had over 300,000 miles on mine before the seat panel wore enough to tear and it never got that bad before I had it replaced at 350k. I have 472k but the odometer shows less than 200k because I had to replace the speedo. Yup, sure sounds like this guy is on the up and up. Good Luck.

Well, that's why I asked you guys. I'll inquire with him further and see if he'd be willing to run a carfax. Thanks.

I might end up with two trucks in the near future here, actually. I found another truck where the guy was asking 8, and took 6 because he needed out of under it like yesterday, 96, option'd the same as that 95. Only difference is this one is all blue, has good beefy tires, all new brakes, new u-joints, and about 150k miles.

Have you personally seen the truck? Would you be willing to test drive and/or tell me what you think of it? Even if you could stop and look it over, I'd greatly appreciate it. If not I understand.

Thanks,
Shawn
