Look over the lift, check u-joints, tire wear, leaks, see if it looks like nothing has been cracked or welded, in additional to all of the other normal Dodge/Cummins gremlins that could be there. Good luck with the test drive.

Just got back from a test drive of the truck. The truck is great. Very clean, leather is in great condition. Has a slight rear main seal leak. Dodge mechanic said it looks like it is a slow leak, barely drips. How bad is this? Since I am getting it for such a good price, I am not too worried about it, unless i should be... Post more info when i have it

This is the first I've heard of a rear main seal leaking. How many miles on the truck? An '04 with <100k miles, I'd have the warranty transferred and make dodge fix it.
Other than that, it sounds like a decent deal.

Finally got the truck. Here are some pics.
So I was down and miami with the truck and went out to drive home... and I had a flat. This was the culprit
The lines running away from the crack is the fix a flat that came spewing out of it when i put it in. After driving 6 hours home on the stock spare, I went out and bought a full sized spar to have with me.

Congratulations on your new purchase, very nice truck.
IS it an auto or a manual?
If it's a manual you'll want to get that rear main leak fixed ASAP, it will soak your clutch and ruin it.
Truck looks great!
Have fun.
