Going to ditch my oiled air filter
I used to have a K&N cold air intake on my truck, I then swapped out the filter for a AFE "funnel" top filter, but I was still having problems with the oil being sucked out. I am thinkinf of a new filter alltogether, I am thinking of a BHAF, but want opinions, are the AFE dry filters ok? or just get a bhaf and be done?

I have the aFe dry (nonoil) filter and love it. I still clean it every 3-4 months regardless what the filter minder indicates. It is very easy to clean and just added to my putzing around maintennance lsit.

I've been using the Amsoil EaAU 4510 for my BHAF for close to 1 1/2 yrs now. It's a dry filter that you blow off when you need to clean it. If the time comes that I would have to replace this filter for some reason, I'd replace it with the same thing. So far, I don't see it needing replaced anytime soon.
