Im picking away at the list of things to do on my truck and im at teh point where i guess i need a dss of some sort just wondering who sells the best product and what the pros and cons are. so who makes the best one?

The best dss you can get is the cheapest you can find... really there is not much to them and I honestly dont believe one is better than the other.
FWIW mine is a SSI.

I have the ebay special. Agreed, the design is all the same and cheapest will work just as well as a higher priced one.

IMO there is alot of knock off branded copied from the origanal person that was Darin's SS. what ever you do make sure you have someone that will back you up on a warranty. if you want a DSS call www.sourceautomotive.biz. they are a dealer for DSS they will beat anyone elses price. food for thought

I like giving my money to the small business owner who invented the DSS and got screwed on it, Darin.
The DSS was set to be patented until Darin's partner messed the patent up and started making the brace himself.

I agree with Infidel on this one. I bought the DSS from Darin after looking into it on this site. Its a good piece and well made.
