Going to 4.10 gears

Going to 4.10 gears
I was hoping to find someone with a manual that wanted to swap but no replies. How much do think this conversion will cost me and who makes the best gears? Yukon? Should I order from Randy's ring and pinion?
Thanks, Tom J.

I know a guy who went from 3.73's to 4.56's. Not sure why, as he's only running 35" tires. Anyway, he says it tows like a dream. Personally I think he's running too high in the RPM range for a Cummins... But I digress.
The swap ran him $1200, labor and all. Wouldn't matter what gear ratio you choose, the parts all cost about the same.
Not sure where you're located, but shop labor around here runs $85-$125 per hour to give you an idea...

I don't think the manuals were available with 4.10's?

05 and earlier Nv5600 and (4500 pre 3rd gen) manuals came with (3:54 pre 3rd gen), 3:73, and 4:10 gears.
05 and later G56 trucks come with only 3:73 gears.

Perhaps the stock converter is throwing me off. I was towing 10-12k yesterday and the stall speed taking off and accelarating on a hill was ridiculous. All I could think about was how hot the fluid must have been getting and I need lower gears. Especially in a few weeks after getting 35" Toyos...
On edit:
If you're right, I'm stoked! I was kind of bummed that my truck had 3.73's, but it was the only 5.9 on the lot.

I would say for both...
You just need a little more umph under the hood...and a tighter converter.
A lock up controller manually in lower gears too...
To put it this way...the reverse is easier to understad.
With 4.10's you won't have...
75 mph at 2,000 rpms and decent mileage.
I have 4.10's in a G56'd chassis cab right now...and it makes me cry. I know that is the worst case secenero...but still.
I think the final drive around 3.5:1 is best...

I've driven a g56 w/ 3.73's. I would definitely want some HUGE rubber, at least 35's. I couldn't imagine it with 4.10's. Must be turning 2700rpms at 75...
On my NV5600 truck I thought 3.73's with 35's was perfect.
I'll keep the gears. More power, TC, VB and input first.
