Going to an 18" wheel
Well since the open country toyos don't come in a 17" tire I think I'm going to buy some 18" wheels to accomadate the 35 12.50 18 tires. Any reccomendations on an 18" wheel that won't force me to sell my first born to get them?
Thanks
Kris

Im in the same boat as you, I want to run the Nitto Mud Grapplers but cant find an 18" rim to fit my budget.
I know AE and Eagle make some, but recently Ive heard stories of guys getting corrosion on those type rims. The nice ones Id like seem to cost more than a hyundai though.......

Glowball,
The Toyo M/T is coming out in 17" sizes, check out the website http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_specsheet.cfm?id=17. The rumor I get from Les Schwab is that it will be available pretty soon. I don't know what pretty soon means, but it was shown in their computer without a price.

The ONLY 18" wheel that is somewhat affordable that has the proper offset and backspace is the Eagle Alloy Type 175, 18"x 8.5".
Other than this wheel, the Kore/Weld 18s are the only other option if you want something that FITS PROPERLY. They are $500+ per.
Slim pickins for 18" wheels if you value fitment. If you don't care about proper fitment, there are all kinds of options....
