Question Goerend vs. BD transmission

Its getting to be about that time for a fransmssion upgrade. i have been trying to do a little research with little luck. I am leaning towards a full goreand transmissing with input and output shafts but i am not %100 sure on where i want to go with it. I have not seen too much on BD's site so i figured i would come to you guys and see with yal are running.

The truck is not an everyday driver thank god!! only have 65k on it!! Diesel is too **** expensive in MD.

I do pull trailers from time to time.....

And my co-workers are into sissie stangs so eventually i would like to be able to whip their tails on the 1/4/.

The truck is a work in progress. i have more wants then i do the green stuff, but one thing at a time.

SO WHAT DO YAL THING GOREAND OR BD!?!?!?!?!

THANKS
Aaron

I have a Custom built trans but a bd converter was used. Its a single disc dual clutch surface. It says its only good to 400 rwhp, so I would look for a triple disk if I were you wanting to hit 800. Good luck looking, I hear suncoast is very quality but a little more spendy.

HTS transmission. www.htstransmissions.com.
Call Dusty, he can point you in the right direction. Dusty builds trannys for Bulldog, the Pinks truck on speed. I am extremely happy with mine.

goerend, goerend goerend, i have had some bd parts, not to bash in any way but i have broke them. and i was told when going back on warranty that i had to much power for the product. so i went to goerend and i have not broken anything, even if i do i know it will be replaced to questions asked.

If going anywhere over 450 hp, I would not use BD. Just not designed for higher HP. Good for what it is but does not sound like it's for you.
