glycerol harding

I don't know if my garage is to cold....I'm finding the glycerol is not liquid any more,but is harding at the bottom of the settling tank...Any ideas?To much lye?

you can mix it with hot water if you want a liquid again. Not sure what you want to do with the stuff after its liquid though. you can compost de-meth'd glycerine easy enough.
You can de-meth the stuff by heating the oil in the reactor and bubbling air through it to get rid of the water.. then do the reaction and once its sat a couple days heat it and blow air through it again, running a hose from the reactor vent down into a collection tank. You probably wont get much methanol, but you can get the excess and make the mist wash and the disposal safer. The resulting glycerine could be simply composted.
You might have to neutralize the ph of the stuff though. not sure on that.
