I tried to contact Glowshift to find out what size to tap my manifold, but they have not replied to my question yet. The Instructions w/ Glowshift do not say the size to tap. Does anyone have any idea. The Closest that i was able to find at the local hardware store was a metric 10 w/ 1.00 threads, but it did not seem correct, so I did not by it.

any help would be great. Thanks

I believe on mine it was a 1/8-27 NPT

My Autmeter was 1/8" NPT (national pipe thread). So was my VDO on my old Mercedes. I think it's a common tap size for egt probes

I have seen both 1/4 and 1/8th. Both of mine are 1/8th.

All of em I've tapped have been 1/8 npt
