I'd like to buy one, but the summit kit that I see listed in the archives has been discontinued.
Summit lists a substitute replacement, but I am unsure if it would work. They list a 9004 bulb harness and a 9007 bulb harness.
I don't have sport headlights, just factory style.

If it is summit part number: SUM-890030 you cannot get it anymore. It's not available. That's why I'm posting this.

The 95 uses a 9004 bulb. I have the harness installed with a 9004+50 bulb in each side. Also polished out the plastic lens material on both sides to get rid of yellowing and scratches. Helps a lot and takes load off the stock switch.

I have new one piece clear headlights. It helps a lot.
Do you happen to have the part number for the harness you bought?

Yep, that one from LMC is the same one I have installed. Easy install and takes all the load off the lousy switch that Dodge used. Stops it from burning up. Then I used 2000 grit paper and medium rubbing compound to take the yellowed layer off the light covers. Polished out with compound and a wool bonnet. Makes a lot of difference!

i just got my kit that you guys recommended from LMC..
what a wierd company!! they sent it in a HUGE box about 2feet by, 6" by 1ft!!
and i could barley read the direction on the back of the box, misspelled words, very wrong grammar, not what i would expect from a business..
did you have anything come up during installation that was not listed?
thanks!

Yes box was huge, and full of peanuts, instructions are direct translation from China, of course you cannot expec much, I didn't even look at it, it' was very simple to install.
Only issue I had harness was too short for what I liked, I added 10" of wires.

I think LMC is a Re-seller, don't stock anything, Just My Guess.
I tried to order over internet, did't work..
Called, finially got someone who seemed smart, ordered part,
Than they told me 7-9 days process time plus shipping time ...' Forgetaboutit'
I'm sure it's me, but I think I'll order from Summit...
Only problem, I'll wind up buying other stuff to fill the box....
??? Maybe the summit Harness is longer,
but probably same part with a higher price tag... oh well, that's life...

Bought my truck about three years ago. Built my relay harness and had it in a week after I got the truck. Nice thing about it is you can use any size wire you want, not limited to what "they" want you to use. It has worked flawlessly. I would do it again on any thing I own.

I am going to try this but use the parking light wire to activate the relay so I dont have any more issues with the highs sticking on with the lows/fogs with the LMC harness.

Haloman,
I am looking to get the harness from lmc for my truck. I noticed that you had a problem with your high beams staying on. Is this a common problem for this harness. I have factory fog lights so I am not sure if I will have the same problem. I would like to know if I will have a problem before I order the harness.

Suvlights also has the harness with relays and also can get bright bulbs from them. I have not got mine yet.

I think this is a common problem. But with all my other upgrades, I don't use my high beams anymore. I am going to build a harness similar to what I posted above. (have all the parts just no time ATM). That should fix it by using the marker light to trigger the relay and take the fog light load off the headlight switch.

NONE of the auto part stores even heard or seen them b4..
i dont want to have to mail order relays every time one goes out..
i would advise against this kit due to REPLACEMENT relay availability:(

really? Mine here in town had them. You have the harness from lmctruck.com right? A standard bosch relay should work.

I changed out my relays on the LMC harness to hella relays and bases for easyer replacement. Any one know where ya can find the 2 headlight sockets and the one socket that you plug into the factory harness so one can make their own harness , I can't find them anywhere.
