Thumbs up George Strait

Just picked up "George Strait - 50 Number Ones" that came out today!

Great Double CD in case anyone (country fans) had any doubt!

I am not a big country fan, but he is without a doubt one of the best out there

I think you just gave me an idea for a stocking stuffer for the wife this Christmas

Only records I've bought in many years have been Chris LeDoux and George Strait...

I'd buy the new Strait release if I didn't already have all the songs...

I've got his 4 cd collection "Strait out of the box". Talk about a good set. I might have to go and pick this set up. I don't care to much for some of his new stuff, but his old stuff is still great.

I'll definitely be picking up his latest....even though I currently own every single album that has ever been released by him. George is the man....with Alan Jackson being a close second. Don't really care for the rest of 'em....

That boxed set that came out 10 or so years ago is great. I don't care for much of his new stuff either. Kinda sounds like he's on auto-pilot. I wore my first boxed set out by '99 and had to buy another. Won't be buying the new greatest hits. I've got all the ones I want.

Gimme the real cowboy singers, Ian Tyson, RW Hampton, Don Edwards, Red Steagall, Sons of the San Joaquin, MMM. Cowboy Poets like Waddie Mitchell and Baxter Black.

And if I'm drinkin', Hank. Senoir and III.

Cross Canadian Ragweed is from TEXAS!!!! There is a huge movement here called texas music. A lot of young artist with a lot of talent. CRR has been around here for years. I am glad to see they have made it.
