Geno's check-a-spare install
Alright, with the last order I made from Geno's I also threw in for one of there check-a-spare remote hoses that you hook up to the spare tire. Well here are some pics of my install and for $6 it sure beats rolling around on the ground to check your spare. I went to Lowe's and got 1/4" flat brass washers and 5/16" e-clips to secure the hose to the rear bumper. I then drilled into the rear bumper using a 5/16" drill bit, and the hose fits just perfect, I actully had push a little bit to get it to slide in. With the hole drilled, I cleaned up the hole with a file on the back side, and used a knife on the plastic. I then marked where to file the groove for the e-clip, I used a small triangle file. I also had to file the washer hole bigger, I did try to drill it out and with it being brass, it was to soft to hold it with out tearing it up. As you can see, with the clip installed on the hose, there is just enough room to get a gauge or air hose on. After I got the hose ready, I blasted the back of the bumper with some primer to help with corrosion.

Geno's check-a-spare install #2
There are a number of ways to route the hose to the valve stem on the spare. I did not turn the spare at all. I put the hose through the channel that the tire rests against and then through the center hole on the rim. This way seemed to have the least amount of sharp edges for the hose to chafe on, remember the hose is filled with the air from the spare!

Geno's check-a-spare install #3
Once I got the hose routed, I pushed it through the hole I drilled and put the washer on and then installed the e-clip. I made it really tight so it would not vibrate and become loose after a while. Use the cap from the spare and your done! Pretty easy install, and it cost less than $10, and it is not very noticeable. Sorry for the three poster, but I am not very computer savy, and couldn't figure how to fit into one post.
