General "how too" for diesels

As some of you know I have just bought my first diesel. coming from a gas forced induction..is there a link or site that I can go to and see how the 5.9L cummings works and operates? Maybe some scematics??

Best thing to do is go to HowStuffWork site and type in how a diesel works.

If you want Cummins specific info, and have an extra $50.00 laying around you can get a subscription to Cummins QuickServe. Its worth it if you like to get really in the weeds for repairs and such.
