GDP, SP Diesel installed............

Pulled out the fass 95 and installed the Glacier system. Pretty easy install cause I already had the fass wired, and the bulkhead plumbed. Instructions says bypass was preset to 22, showing 17 on my dipricol gauge. Will turn up pressure tomorrow. Pressure with fass was 17 at idle, 10 at wot. GDP 17 at idle 15 wot. much less of a drop. Very quiet.

SP diesel module was doing some wierd things to my engine so I pulled it off. At idle, the rpms would jump up like somebody was tapping the gas pedal. There must be some kind of interferance or something. Pulled it out, no issues. Will call SP on monday. Rail pressure gauge worked good, saw 23k at wot with my modded pump, no added pressure. An analog gauge would be much easier to follow, but cant beat the ease of install with the SP.

The analog guage hooks up to the same sensor.

glad to hear the GDP kit was easy, I put in the big line and MK2 filter kit Friday night and I am goin to put in the 392 system in a couple of hours.

How do you turn the pressure up?
Dont you need shims or something from Richard?

Unless SP Diesel REALLY changed thier products and the way they do business, I wouldn't touch them again with a 50-mile pole. I had my 4-weeks of BS with them....

I agree Sp Diesel is nothing but trouble poor product, poor non-available tech support send it back and buy something better that won't destroy you 40K truck. You'd be better off randomly crossing wires to see what happens. I tried their products and held out for their promises. When they wanted me to hack into their product to fix problems I sent it back.

you are right, it is getting easier to start now. how well do you like your turbo? I have an automatic trk as well & im thinking of getting a 62 and parting ways with my big silver bullet, I want quick spool up for the street. I dont plan to run any drugs so the 62 may be better for me.

Love it. If I want to spool and go, I can...or if I want to lug and smoke, I can do that too. Absolutely love this turbo!
