The wait is going to eat at you!

What about pre drilling and tapping the exhaust manifold and plugging it up so it will be all ready for install. But make sure not to do it unless you absolutely sure it’s the right drill and tap size. It varies and is not universal. Also you may need anti-seize on the plug for the pre drilled hole.

Also, when I bought my boost gauge I needed extra pieces and adaptors. The parts store here just so happened to have a boost gauge adapter kit for about 5 bucks and even came with plastic hose (which I didn’t need), and with out the kit I would not have been able to hook up the boost to the pressure side plug hole. The boost gauge that I received presumed that I was tying into a pressure line and not directly into the intake manifold. So an extra kit with fittings was needed.

Have fun waiting!

don't wanna pre drill and plug because I'm planning on installing the 16 cm at the same time, that way cleaning out metal shavings is a snap.
need to get some good anti-seize, any suggestions?
teflon tape-check

I have one roll of 14 gauge wire, they say 2 rolls of 18 gauge, is that right?

gauges came will all fittings, 1/8 npt. checked everything, i've got all i need cept wire and anti-seize.

now all I gotta do it wait! ahh!

Yeah, you might get in trouble if you don't watch it...with either the inlaws or the wife! Imagine this: Gifts are being passed around, you get your guages at the 2nd go around of gifts. You still predict 6 more passes around to everybody. YOU want to go and install these!! You slyly slip out to the garage as everyone doesn't notice...or so you think! Pretty soon, you have all the uncles, father in law, kids, etc. out in the garage wondering what you are doing, then all the advise on how to properly install is being thrown at you left and right. You have uncle help(to quiet him down) by running the pyro cable through the firewall into the cab. He notices the cable is too long, and he asks you for electrical fittings because he cut the cable to what he thinks is the right length!! . My advise: Wait till they all leave to go to the after x'mas sales. Listen to ONLY the advise given from all of us on this site!!
