Has anyone tried to mount gauges in the cubby hole located in the center of the dash just below the A/C controls? I have heated seats so it appears that maybe two 2" gauges will fit.

Thanks

I know Quadzilla was selling the 3 gauge panel for the cubby hole, don't know if he has one for the heated seat trucks or not.

WTTD,
Thanks for the update. I'm planning to make my own panel to install in the cubby hole.
Now does anyone have the dimensions for the DiPricol boost and pyro gauges?

Thanks

Standard size for these gauges is 2 1/16" diameter.

I was going to mount mine there, until I stuck them in there temporarily and decided they were to hard to see. I bought the column mount from Autometer for my boost and pyro and the fuel pressure is going in the ashtray.

@stoked, do you have pics of the ash tray install and or where/how did you fab or get it from? Thank you.

Man, this is a really old thread... you might want to start your own thread and ask about this.

Welcome to the site. It is an old thread but I think this will answer your questions. Geno's Garage part # GM-DG-15021

I just completed this on my o3, with the cubby hole kit, worked great, made it easy and the gauges are turned up and towards the driver for easy reading. I had them mounted temp. But they are to hard to see without the gauge pod.

I was more wondering about the ash tray mount.

How's this look, I'm thinking how to use that useless ashtray place myself, never seen a pic. The cig lighter is not needed don't you think. It would be a great place for a real oil gauge or maybe a vertical stack with a rail pressure:cool: Anyway had this for many years and because they are dial gauges a glance is all you need.
