Gauges FINALLY Installed

Ok after 5 weeks of hassle and shipping probs, I finally got my Isspro EV gauges installed. I love em!! Here's what I'm reading:

Egt- max of 1100 at WOT
FP- idle-9.5 (no good, I know)
cruise-6
WOT-4
Boost-max of 20 at WOT

Looks like I'll be calling the dealership tomm. and getting me a new lift pump installed. I'll keep yall up to date with that problem.

I'm hearing more noise after the install. I can't tell if its the gauges, or from the fuel hose behind the pillar, or if its just b/c of the larger gap in my firewall b/c of the fuel hose. Any of yall hear any thing similar?

Keep on keeping on,
Hunter

If it's a buzzing noise, it's either the fuel line or boost line. I put clear plastic hose over my fuel line, but forgot about the boost line so my boost line will buzz when the boost gets to 20-30.

It's not a buzzing sound, just sounds like more engine noise. No leaks that I call see or smell. Just sounds like the window is down an inch.

Oh ya, I replaced my fuel filter today and threw some high flow banjos in also, so I'm hoping thats it just the lift pump, not the VP44.

If using the stainless steel line to the fuel gauge, you will pick up injector pump noise. Also the box for the Isspro egt gauge will sometimes whine.
I don't hear hear very well any more, so none of it bothers me

the noise your hearing is a pulsating noise that only occures when you get on it, That is the boost gauge, there is a device that you put on the line to stop it but i can't remember what it was called.

I'm not running a SS hose. The box is pretty well hid under the dash, I can't hear any noise from it, though it might be making some. It doesn't bother me, I guess its just a different "new to me" sound that I will have to get used to.

I guess when your cruising for chicks w/ the windows down, I should be concentrating on them, and not the "new noise"!!!!!!

I did notice that EGT box making a little noise when I first hooked it up. But I had the radio turned off and the truck was off and I could barely hear it.
