View Full Version : Gauge question
I am looking to get some gauge's this year around xmas time. I have been looking at different makes, I plan on getting the Trans, pyro, and boost gauge in a pillar mount. I have a tweeter so the mount will need to accommodate that speaker. I was wonder what brand of gauge and pillar mounts is the best, price is an important. I can spend in the mid $200?

KC

i have isspro ev gauges and they look great. they're backlit and closely match the stock gauges. i paid about 260 for everything through diesel injection service. hope this helps.

Auto-Meter makes a real nice pillar mount and a nice choice of gauges. :)

Any 2 1/16 gauge will fit in the auto-meter pillar mount. I too have the tweeter and 3 gauges. I didn't cut my stock pillar, just removed it and put the new one in its place.
Sometime, around the middle of next week, EEP will have their new white faced dipricol gauges in. They feature 100 lb. boost and a 30 lb. fuel pressure gauge, for all the twin charger/pusher pump people. EEP = Enterprise Engine

Yes EEP's are supposed to look awesome. Will at Black Mountain Diesel ordered me a set last week. I wanted the fuel pressure gauge as weel. Hope you can install them by yourself if all you want to spend is mid 200. They say its not hard just takes time. So be patient. ;D

We plan to try to keep the Enterprise DiPricols in stock on a regular basis, they are great gauges, good quality at a good price !
Ok, do I want black gauges with white letters or white back ground and black letters for overall viewing?

KC

Lighter colored faces on gauges are easier to read at night. I have AutoMeter UltraLites with the silver face, for that reason.

I was looking at AutoMeter Z-Series because they match the stock gauges. Are they really hard to see at night? Are Isspro EVA's any better?
I have the Autometer Z series Pyro and Boost guages along with a Westach FP mounted on the A pillar and all are fairly easy to use and see at night.

Hello
I like the Isspro gauges. I use the multi-colored gauge for the EGT on my wifes truck along with Tranny temp and fuel pressure ( the last being a westtech). Auto tranny truck.
I have the EV EGT, boost and the westtech fuel pressure on my truck a six speed. For youngesters the regular gauges will work fine for folks that's eyes have been around awhile the EVs is my suggestion.
I think that you need to go with what ever gauge you like and are happy with. They are all good
See Ya
Chris
