Gauge mount help...

I am getting ready to install my gauges. I am doing the single pillar with the handle, and the 2 gauge column mount... I was thinking about mounting the 4th gauge where the cigarette lighter goes (never use it anyway) to keep them all close without blocking my view. Has anyone done this before and if so, which one should be mounted there? I was thinking that any temp gauge might be affected by the air duct... so maybe the pressure gauge should go there? Mine's an '04 auto. Thanks in advance-

why not an indash triple pod if you need 4 total? I personally am leary about cutting up the dash for mounting anything because you only get one chance.

Do the three gauge mount above the rear view mirror. This way you have the other three gauges together.

Hey thanks for the suggestions. I would love to do the dash mount... had it before but this truck has heated seats. I also had the triple pillar mount before but actually dislocated my little finger on the upper gauge mount while
correcting a fishtail spin with the tilt wheel up. I didn't like looking around it all the time either. I wish I could see an overhead mount in person... is it hard to keep up with trying to monitor everything and watch where you are going as well?

I'll be changing from a bullydog pmt to gauges. I'm going to be installing the dash mount to install 2 boosts and egt. I'll still keep fuel press., oil press, and trans temp. on the steer.column. All my gauges in close loc. to do a quick glance and still keep my eyes on the road.

I'm thinking the same way about keeping them close. How are you mounting three to your column? If I could pull that off and make it look clean I would like to try that-
