G-56 Question
I have a noisey G-56 that is going to need attention soon does anyone know anyone that sells built G-56 parts and trans supports to take away flex from the case?

How do you know it needs attention? Just because its making noise? The G-56 is a noisy darn thing to begin with, mine makes crazy noises all the time and has for a while now, at first i thought the same thing about mine but 40K miles later its still going strong, maybe think about getting a Fluidamper!

I had an 05 1/2 with the g-56. It made tons of noise. I took it to get looked at and $3600.00 later a rebuilt transmission charged to go ol' chrysler. I only had 55,000 miles on it with towing no more than 7000 lbs once or twice a month.

Why would you try to drive your truck @ 700-1200 rpm in 5th and 6th gear, any tranny is ganna growl at ya doing that!

I do not lug the truck at 700rpm I was just telling you guys but I do have a terrible vibration in 5th gear from 1300 to 1800 and at 40mph 5th is just right and it vibrated bad so I try 6th but 6th lugs it and it vibrates.(@40mph)

Well, replacing the DMF clutch with that Valair DD is the main reason... lots of harmonics from the engine get to the G56 - that's why a FluiDampr or equivalant is a good idea.
Biggest "problem" with the CRs is they'll make plenty of usable power practically off idle - makes it tough on parts.
