fuse 23 keeps blowing!!
I have an 03 and fuse 23 which is a 15 amp fuse for the interior lights, map lights and power mirrors keeps blowing. Took it to a shop and they could not fix it. It pops immediately when you try to replace the fuse.(short to ground I was told) I have a hornet alarm/ starter and the mechanic thought that may be the cause. Doors have been isolated as well as the key switch. Any thoughts because this is driving me crazy!!!!

Trying to find a short like that can be a real bear.
Remove the fuse, and connect a voltmeter across the two fuse connections. If there's a short, the meter will be above 0.
Disconnect each item on the circuit until the voltmeter drops to zero. When that happens, you've found the short. The problem could be in the component itself, or in the wiring leading to that component.
If disconnecting each component does not find it, then it's in the wiring harness.
