fuel tank skid plate

I have searched and looked, but can not find a source for a fuel tank skid plate. Are they available anywhere? or do I new to just make one somehow?
I know the tank is not in an area that may get smashed, but maybe a rock or branch could find a way in there. Is this something any one else is concerned about? thanks, Ken

I just had a piece of road debris punch a hole in mine. I'm thinking i need one too. cost almost $1000 for tank sender and new straps. Ill prolly just build my own tho, want to guard the front vertical face also, that's where mine got hit.
