Can you hook the wires up to the 93? You could probably lead the wires back to where you would have enough slack to test the 93.... I have bought a couple of instrument cluster that fit 89-93... it should work.. if it is a physical fit!!

ROCKFOOT,
I just got the sender and a power mirror of a 93 Cummins today for $22.32 at a Pick A Part. Speaking about instrument clusters it was still in the cab. Is it worth getting an extra?

Yea... I still need one.. My odometer has not worked for years and I have bought 2 off of the internet and 1 at a junk yard and none of them worked... they all had about 260,000 on them. That is when the odometer drive gear goes out apparently.... See how much you can get it for... they go quick on e-bay... How many miles were on it... the speed o meter is over $300 if you have to buy one... thats why I don't have one yet. The rest of the gauges keep on tickin'...

Depends... I have seen them go for $150. I got one for $90.. The one at the junkyard was $50.00.... I just found a "sticky" on how to fix the odometer... those little gears in there cost about $60 by themselves!!

ROCKFOOT,
I noticed you have bucket seats in a standard cab. How do you like them and how are they for a tall person 6'2". Sometimes I would like to slide the bench seat back more, but it is all the way back. Wish I had a 6' bed and a long cab if they made it 89-93.

Yea, they were put in for a tall guy with a real short wife and when she had to drive, his knees were under his chin... that was the solution. This truck that I bought in 2000 was pulling a 34' camper for 9 years and 210,000 miles. It has been in every state in the union including Alaska. Still goin' strong....
