fuel pump?
I have heard that some mid year 1998 24 valve dodge pu's came with the p7100 fuel pump and not the vp44 pump.Is it true that there are 24 valve trucks out there with the mechanical pump?Thanks

I would say no. Completely different setups. I could be wrong though.

There are 24 valve trucks with p-pumps, but they were converted after the fact.

'98 was the transition year from the 12v to the 24v. Both engines made it into the '98 trucks. No 24v from the factory came with the P-pump.
