fuel pressure

is an electric guage better to go with or a mechanical?

i think the more important question may be whether or not you mind having fuel inside the cab? w/ the mechanical gauges (unless you get an issolator) you will be running a fuel line to the back of the gauge where on an electrical you have a sending unit at the fuel line. just some info for you.

Electric... no need to worry about a isolator or fuel in the cab.

I like mechanical without an isolator cuz they screw up, it's diesel coming into your can at 15psi, not like its gasoline at 50psi spraying all over the place.
More to go wrong electrics.

I have had no issues with my mechanical guage at all. Fuel to the isolator and anti-freeze from isolator to guage. No worries of any fuel entering the cab.
