Fuel pressure sending units
I bought the Cummins School bus Lift pump replacement kit and it has 2 fuel pressure sending units #3408705 1152 2 and 1238 2. are these for lights only or will they show pressure on a pressure gauge?

I got the same and decided they were retro fits for systems that exist in the school buses, amubluances etc. You might find some use for them but I sure didn't need it in my 2001 Dodge. Maybe someone else has a use for the wires. Did you get instructions in the box? They sort of described what the extra parts are for.

Are they pressure switches or actual sending units? If they're switches I could possibly make use of one. I'm working on a low-cost flashing LED system to warn me about loss of fuel pressure until I get some gauges in my truck--reason being is the other day I almost started it up with a dead FASS due to defective fuse...replaced the fuse and all is well but I'm extremely paranoid--injection pump is only 1 1/2 months old!
