Well my FP gauge started to flutter today so I am assuming my isolator has or is failing. I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get an autometer isolator without a gauge. My current isolator is the 15psi diaphram version.

I would just forget about the isolator all together. I had nothing but trouble with my. Now i have fuel to the gauge and never had a glich since.

you want a "snubber valve" with the fuel neddle in it and there only 30 dollers or so and they slow the vib down in the fuel pressure line so it doesnt break the needle on your gauge but with it you iliminate the fuel iso

Forget the isolator and just use good plumbing.

You'll want a needle valve to run inline where you taped for fuel pressure. I havent used a isolator since 2004, there always a pain to use. Heres a pic of something simular. It will be 1/8" NPT Male on one end and Female on the other. Napa usually has them.

I swore off the needle valve for a cheapo $20 liquid-filled guage that has become the best FP setup I've ever had.

I have a free Autometer isolator 0-15 psi just like yours sitting on the shelf in my garage, yours for the price of shipping but your money is better spent on a needle valve or shubber or liquid filled gauge like already stated.

But if your interested it's yours.

My isolator is sitting under about 60 feet of garbage at the local dump. That thing was a pain to try and keep working. Straight to the gauge and a snubber valve and all is good. 10 months and no issues so far. (knock on wood)

no isolator here......jus plastic tube into the cab into a oil pressure gauge...lol
been workin great for 2 years now

Looks like I will eliminate the isolator. I am going to look around for a needle valve/snubber this weekend. Is this a fairly common piece at local autoparts store?

I got mine at Canadian tire, I'm sure acklands would have something as well.

The needle valve is the easy part to find getting those -4 AN / 1/4 NPT (memory maybe not the correct thread) to work with the other ends was the hard part to find. I had to go to a specialty fastener shop.

not sure about my info but I was told that if you mount your fp gauge on the a pillar the pyro gauge will cause flutter or misreading so I mounted mine above steering colum. If wrong please let me know
