Fuel pressure gauge
As the new owner of a not so new diesel truck, a 1999 2500 24 valve , I was trying to find a fuel pressure gauge at a reasonable price. the only one that I have found was $239 and that seemed a bit too pricey. Are there other options??

UH, yeah...get a mechanical guage. This will require running fuel into the cab but its no big deal.
How about $39.95 ??

it is a standard gage. would need an isolator if you don't want fuel in the people space. 1 1/2" gage, liquid filled. not sure about being lighted, but probably not. 3 color choices.
part number 555-41012 jegs black or 105-2173 autometer black
go to jegs website and check it out.
I'm planning on going with a cyberdyne digital 0-80 psi oil press gage for mine. Gonna run me about 70 bucks total.
No one makes a 0-40 or 0-50 psi gage that I have found, and I prefer digital so I can see press instantly without havign to read the dial since it will be mounted on the floor in front fo the shifter.

TCRM, make sure the Cyberdyne comes with a good warranty.
12 valve lift pump pulsations kill senders even with a gauge snubber.
I went though three senders before I gave up and went with a mechanical, one sender only lasted 15 minutes.
60 psi is the best psi gauge for a 12 valve, that way at normal operating pressure the needle is pointing straight up.
