Have an issPro mechanical FP gauge in truck. It has a rubber fuel line coming in with a male pushlock connector on the end of it, then there is a Female-Female adapter that hooks that to the male connector on the back of the gauge. The leak is right there. I have 3 options:
1: I am trying to find a pushlock with a Female end on it, but can not for the life of me locate one. I tried Napa and Grainger and neither has one. Grainger only carries the male. Does anyone know where I can find one?
2: Find a box that my installer recommended: you hook the fuel line to it in the engine bay then you use antifreeze on the output of the box and run that up to the cab. Anyone know what this box is called and where to get it? My installed said he thinks it has only been out a few months.
3: Electrical gauge. issPro doesn't sell one. Who makes an electrical gauge that would closely match the issPro EV series boost and EGT that I already have?

The item you're describing is called an isolator.

As for the adapter, not sure.
Mine is stainless braided with -AN fittings on each end.

Figured it was an isolator. I would rather go that route then the electrical isolator. Just wondered if there was an official name.

Are you running 1/4" pushlock? I have a few of the female 1/8" npt to 1/4" barbs fittings here now.

Rob, mine is set up similar, but with a female pushlock...no adapter. I got mine from a local hydraulic shop....looked identical to the male ones at NAPA.

FP Isolator

Also found a Dipricol isolator that uses antifreeze as the fluid between the gauge and the isolator. Genos sells it as part of a FP gauge kit, I am trying to find out if it is diesel rated and if they will sell just the isolator.

I would rather prefer just to get a female pushlock and keep the existing setup I have though.

If you need a Di-pricol isolator PM me,I never used it.

According to tech support from Genosgarage, the DiPricol isolator is supposed to be rated for use with diesel. You can not order just the isolator from the website, you have to call them and place the order over the phone. The Geno's part number is: C-160-160. Cost is $75.00
I am going to find a female pushlock and just use that to try to fix the leak, I am also going to order one of the above isolators, just to have around incase I start having a leak again.

Save your money on the isolator. Even though they are rated for diesel they don't hold up to the pulsations a diesel engine generates. Most all of the isolators I've checked out that have been in service over 10k had a cracked diaphragm, fuel had been making it to the cab and the owners were none the wiser.
