fuel mileage with lift

i know it has been discussed on here before but havent been able to find it.....just looking for the effects of fuelmileage with a lift vs no lift vs leveling kit......right now with the mods i have the fuel mileage thing on my truck is reading an average of 17-18.5 city and 21-23 on the hwy

that thing lies like a dirty politician being accused of stains on a dress. My truck has a total of 12 inches (6 suspension, 3 body and 37's) and last time I hand calculated (about a week ago) was 16.1 mpg. all I have done is exhaust but will let you know after the others are done.

My lift didn't affect mine, the tires did. I put the 35's on with just a coil spacer first, and mine dropped from 15.5 to 12.5. After the lift it remained the same, although the truck was stock when I put the 35s on it, and after them I added the intake and exhaust.

My 05 with the 6" lift and 37's towing was at 18 and driving was 21!! Hand calculated...

I lost about 1-2 mpg after I put on my 4" lift and 35s, kinda sad actually, most guys dont see a loss that high...
I was getting 16/17 @ stock height, now im getting 14/15...
Most of this is stop-n-go though
AND a heavy foot on the skinny pedal

thank all of yall for the replies that was a main concern of my wifes because we are getting good mileage now

with my 6" and 37's i get about 12, but i do get on it quite a bit.

well i dont get on it to much mostly while traveling and passing in traffic and such
