Fuel gauge needed?

Hi all,
I know this has been covered and I've read most of the lift pump posts but to be honest, I'm a bit confused with the information thus far.

My plans are as follows.

Gauges this week-------
I am planning in ordering gauges this week with an overhead/windshield mount. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and order the FP gauge and the 4 hole mounting which will include the tranny temp, pyro and boost.
Box-----
I do plan on getting a VA box in the next few months as well. I dont want to tax the tranny etc and am just looking for a little more oomph when pulling the 5th wheel over the mountains here in Colorado.

I have the a 2003 SO. Is this year and model within the lift pump failure family? Should I just go ahead and get the FP gauge and do it all at once?

Thanks
Brett

Yes I woud get a fuel pressure guage the high pressure pump in the common rail need adequate fuel pressure at all times just like vp44. Just a safety incentive for your wallet spend a little on a guage now and save alot later
