Fuel Drip
I had my truck parked after running it for about 15 minutes, so it was warm, then I pulled into a different spot and I noticed a fairly large yellow spot on the blacktop. My first instinct was anti-freeze. I rubbed my finger through it, and turns out, its fuel. I crawled under the truck to check it out, and it is dripping from above the starter area. I had the starter off about a week or two ago, and I don't know if I maybe hit something? I guess its off the water seperator bowl? Is there a line that may have cracked? It drips pretty consistantly. Any ideas?

Could be the water drain on the water seperator, but if you still have the factory fuel hoses above the starter your are lucky thay have not rotted out by now. Check the hoses. Goodluck,,,Rick

I had 1 year old fuel filters develop little pin holes in the steel like a cavitational errosion type thing. Very bizzare, this has happened twice over about 8 years. I tried napa filters, mopar, and purolator. the mopar is the most rugged.

I'm gonna go along with Kandgo on this one. The drain/water in fuel sensorit on the bottom of the filter, well gets old. They are about $20 at Geno's Garage. Kevin

I don't think my filter has holes in it... I looked in there best I could, and the hoses seem fine. Pain to get to!!! All that stuff in the corner is, fuel filter, fuel plate, shut down relay, everything! Can I buy just the plastic piece that you push up to let the water/fuel empty out? I noticed the hose is missing off the end of it...

I've run across a few that leaked due to a piece of crud stuck in the sealing part of the valve.
