Fuel capacity

What is the difference in the capacity of the fuel tank on a long bed / short bed? I have put 34 gal. in my reg. cab, but I had a '97 gas extended short bed some years back & I don't think it was that large. If anybody knows please reply, it may make a difference on another reg. cab or quad. Jeff

Re:Fuel capacity

fuel tank capacity changes by make, model, and year. I have had Fords, Dodges and now a Chev and everyone of them had different size tanks on them. Some of them even from year to year. You will have to search vehicle specs. on Chev sites if thats the make you are interested in.
