Arrow The Million Dollar Family Squabble.....

I heard that the guy who owns Fuel Boss company is the father of the guy who owns the FASS company and there's a HUGE family riff as a result. Between the 2 of them they have the solution for a large percentage of our trucks. You'd think there be enough for everyone....

i like the idea of a mechanical pump better than an electric one. but i have on question, how does the truck first prime when you turn it to the "on" position? does it not need to? maybe it just takes a second longer to crank?

If it's like opies pump when the hobbs switch dosent see any pressure when you key on it will bump the electric lift pump for priming, but were about to put out a simple budget kit for the mechanical pumps which dosent have the hobbs switch. Cause the key on priming isn't really necesary cause the mechanical keeps adaquet fuel to the vp, and like on 12v the pump dosent start to pressurize til the engine is cranking. The hobbs is really just a safety back up if something were to ever happen to the belt which is really overkill, but nice to have, and if you just carry the extra belt and a 1/2 inch wrench your good to go anyways. These kits should run in the upper $500 dollar range.
